The White House Honey Ale is a version of the beer brewed by the president. The beer was inspired by homebrewers like yourself and now can get back to you. This recipe will brew a light beer with some maltiness and sweetness from the honey.

This kit comes with dry yeast, but you can upgrade to liquid yeast by using the pick list above. Because this kit has a higher starting gravity, it is a good idea to either make a yeast starter or purchase a second pack of yeast. The dry yeast will be more resilient through the shipping process, although we do include cold packs during warm months with our liquid yeast to help ensure freshness.
